Part spectator and part player in an ever-changing world, I seek to understand and answer hard questions using qualitative and quantitative methods. I strive to be rigorous in research and literate in the most consequential issues dominant in our national conversation irrespective of the field. I look for stories that inspire, invite critique, and question old narratives and assumptions in a messy, noisy, confusing world. Find me investigating whether the symphony of cortical neurons can promote glioblastoma growth, searching for state statutes on the withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment for patients who cannot decide on their own, or diving deep into the world of political election gambling.
